Fotopub 2016

The identity for the third iteration of Fotopub tried to fill the gap between contemporary photography, as represented by the festival, and the more rural and traditional ideas of art common in the region where the festival is held. We found clues in Dolenjska’s wine-making heritage and developed the visuals around a machine called a winepress. In this case, it wasn’t pressing wine, but an egg, by then an established symbol of the festival.
