Typojanchi Clock
Typojanchi is the Korea’s largest typographic biennial, held in Seoul, Korea. I contributed to the 2019 edition as part of the section dealing with the idea of time and design. I made a simple clock, where each of the three pieces serves as a pointer. Each of them was assigned an animal, based on its speed and life span. The turtle is slow but lives a very long time, so it represented hours. The snake is fast but her life is short, which gives her the seconds. The cow represents minutes, since it stands somewhere between the two extremes.
