This five color risograph print was designed and printed while I was in the spring of my first year in grad school. It was made for a pecha kucha event where the graduating class had to present their thesis ideas. The poster won the Grand Prix at Tokyo Type Directors Club in 2015. This edition is limited, meaning it will not be re-printed as such, though prints are not numbered. Each print that comes out of the risograph is different and may differentiate slightly from what you see here. Misalignments or smaller anomalies, hard to predict, explain or avoid, are a part of this printing process. This particular edition is printed on standard photocopying paper. The paper is not very fancy, but for some reason, the colors on it are really strong, better than on the few original copies that I printed on thicker uncoated paper.
